So I realize that its been insanely busy for me lately. Work got crazy. On top of that I had a lot of personal stuff that went on with me. Things to do with family and loved ones but got resolved.
On top of that my Bernese Mountain Dog got very ill with a huge cancerous tumor on her front chest. It was a decision to put her down or risk doing the surgery in hopes it was enclosed and they could remove it all. I decided to tighten the belt and scrap out every dime I had and gave the girl her operation. I was so scared it would just give her pain in her remaining days. However, they found the cancer to be enclosed and the skin around the tumor to be cancer free and we got the best results we could have hoped for. She struggled with pain for many days but now is running around and back to her old self. Her stitches come out next week and I cannot wait for things to be normal again (and to give her a proper bath!)
Christmas was small but wonderful with the children. My 10 year old daughter is continuing to grow and be amazing. She is shocking her teachers and therapists left and right. Even though she has Angelmans Syndrome, Type 1 Diabetes and Epilepsy, she continues to shine every day with hugs and smiles for all. She even has shocked many of us that she has been able to read now! My son is growing up so fast! Now rolling into second grade and making all sorts of friends. Play Minecraft non-stop and is so smart and quick. He is like his mother and all about the new technology and gadgets or he is buried behind his sketchbook!
I didn't get as much drawing I would have liked to have gotten done this year. However, I am making my new year's resolution for 2013 and focus a bit more on getting myself back on track. I have 2 goals every month of 2013. 1st goal - I want to try and lose 10 lbs each month until I reach my happy goal weight. That means working harder on time management and focusing on eating throughout the day and getting exercise in more. 2nd goal - to finish at least one full piece each month. It can be digital or traditional. It can't be just a sketch and it has to be one of my own personal pieces, not just a commission piece. I need to get in more drawing. I need to not only be a great mother but also remember me as well. Its not always easy being the single mom but I couldn't and wouldn't want it any other way with the children I have. I want to show them how I can also be great as just me too!
I know I haven't replied as often as I wanted to and I haven't given as much attention to my group

as I would have liked, but I have had great people help keep it running for some amazing artists! I see things changing in 2013 for the better.
I have also gotten to know many new artists and creatives around the world. Ahhhh, the power of social media. I have been inspired seeing their works and I have gotten to know quite a few really well. I hope to continue to get to know more of you and see all of your work! Thank you for following me as you have!
So I end this with many wishes to all of you out there this holiday season. Happy holidays to whatever holiday you celebrate and have a smashing new year!
I really appreciate it!!
I hope you will have fun!!
I love your dragons.
